The second Spin: Glasgow pilot event takes place at the City Inn at Finnieston Quay. Joining us will be gallerist, Kenny Shackter, to discuss the contemporary art market as part of a new initiative to encourage new collectors to the art market. ArtInsight aims to explore and demystify the idea of collecting contemporary art. Who does it? How do you do it? What would you buy? What influence does the art market have on the kind of contemporary art work which is made and how do artists interact with galleries and collectors themselves?
