Artist's Studio Visit - Kenny Hunter

A great opportunity to meet and visit the studio of one of Scotland’s foremost contemporary artists, Kenny Hunter. Hunter graduated in sculpture from Glasgow School of Art in 1987. Well-known for his sculpture in the public realm, works in Glasgow include Citizen Firefighter, located outside Glasgow’s Central Station, and the commission for to celebrate the Christian Millennium, Man Walks Among Us for Glasgow Museums. He has also exhibited internationally including Feedback Loop (CCA Glasgow, 2004) and Natural Selection, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, 2006. He will have a solo show at Tramway in July 2008.
It will also be our first visit with new SPIN:Glasgow host, Alhena Katsoff. Alhena is practising artist, graduating from The Glasgow School of Art’s MFA in June last year.
