The next Spin:Glasgow event will take place at Tramway. Since it’s degree show time for all students in the city, Ruth Barker will again host an informal session looking at the Hiscox MFA Glasgow exhibition – the annual degree show of the postgraduate fine art course at Glasgow School of Art.

This course is renowned worldwide for producing graduates who go on to international success – last year’s Turner Prize winner, Simon Starling, is just one of the artists who has completed the course. It also attracts artists from all over the world, so it’s a great chance to meet some of the most promising artists emerging onto the art scene right now.

Ruth, herself is a graduate of the course, will take you on a tour of the exhibition which is spread throughout all Tramway’s nooks and crannies. Along the way, we will be meeting two of the artists in the show, to talk about their work and their hopes and plans for their future career.
